Michael Taglieri's photo-based series wearing a raincoat in case it begins to rain (2006) documents the performative actions of figures clad in yellow raincoats who have been positioned in familiar Canadian vistas. These are disjunctive presences that allow for a repositioning of the conceptual framing of their landscape backgrounds.
