BRAND NEW STORY is Sarah Clifford-Rashotte’s fifth solo show at LE Gallery featuring text-based installation work, photo-collage and ephemera which collectively function to transcribe her creative process. This multidisciplinary exhibition elaborates on her connection to ‘autofiction’ which highlights the reconstructing and fabricating of personal narratives to explore the limitations of memory, language and experience. Clifford-Rashotte’s previous text-based work has been represented in both billboard and book format, however, BRAND NEW STORY will feature her first large scale text-based installation series. Clifford-Rashotte is an MFA graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design and has exhibited in Canada and Europe.
